Yatsuhashi: Every opponent is tough

Accra Hearts of Oak have intensified their preparation for Sunday’s (March 13) Premier League game against Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians are unbeaten in their first three games of the season.

Speaking to Class Sports ahead of the game, Hearts coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi said every opponent in the league was tough and difficult to beat.

“I say they are a very difficult opponent because they know our record and I think everyone wants to beat us and we are fighting steam to finish (better than) last season so every opponent from the Premier League is better. And every opponent who came from Division One has a good momentum so it will be a very difficult opponent no matter who we play against.

Despite their strong start to the season, Yatsuhashi wants to see an improvement in their game on Sunday and beyond.

“What happened last season is last season. We have a very good team right now. What I meant was that everyone is working very hard, cohesively; collectively …we like to improve each week and each day.

“I’m not looking to maintain it (the team’s present form), we have a lot of rooms to improve so I’m not looking at if we can maintain; I’m looking at if we can improve from today to tomorrow.
