Prosper Narteh, a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, has been appointed as the head coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

His appointment follows the dismissal of veteran coach J.E.Sarpong following a poor run of results for the CAPE Coast side.

The new coach will lead the team for the rest of the season.

Narteh, 38, holds a CAF License A coaching certificate as well as a Master’s Degree in Physical Education.

Narteh, who is virtually unknown in football circles in most parts Ghana, is a popular name in the Central region.

He is highly skilled and his tactical understanding of the game has been lauded by many in the region.

He is hugely recognised as the one who single-handedly qualified Elmina Sharks into the Division One League in 2013.
