Tawrick Jebrin targets Black Stars place

jebrin-komsuya-gidiyor176e474c09Ghanaian midfielder Tawrick Jebrin says he wants get into the Black Stars team by the end of the current football season.

The player revealed this to Citi Sports on Thursday in an interview and he explained that he would be working hard to meet his target especially since he has joined Egyptian side Ismaily.

Jebrin recently left Turkish side Bucaspor and ended a four-year stay in Turkey and he said he was ready to work hard to help his new club and bring him to the attention of the selectors of the national team.

“I am with Ismaily now and I need to keep improving to help the team. I am always encouraging myself to push on so that my career will progress as I desire.

I have huge aims and one of them is to play in Spain but this season, my aim is to get called up into the national team.

I hope that the season will turn out well so I can get that invitation.”

Jebrin revealed that he left Bucaspor due to unpaid salaries but before settling on Ismaily, he received offers from some European clubs including Wisla Krakow of Poland.

He is yet to join his team-mates at Ismaily and he explained that he had a few issues to sort out before flying to Egypt.
