The former coach of Bechem United has officially signed for the Yellow and Mauves after terminating his contract with the Hawks last week
Medeama SC have captured the services of former Bechem United head coach Tom Strand in a two-year deal.
He will be assisted by Annor Walker.
The 33-year-old Swedish trainer joined Bechem United in the second round of last season’s Ghana Premier League after the then head coach Miloslav Bogdanovic opted to join regional rivals Aduana Stars.
“It’s true I’ve joined Medeama SC and hoping to help them achieve more success just like I did with Bechem [United],” Strand told Goal Ghana.
“The details of the contract will be revealed later but all I can say is, I’m here to stay and work harder than before in my career. I thank the management for the opportunity given to me.”
Strand guided United to finish fifth on the log last season. He played a huge role in Augustine Okrah’s success after he won both the league’s goal king diadem and best player’s accolade.
