Starbites opens at shell stations in Kumasi

To the delight of Kumasi-based Shell customers, Starbites has arrived at Shell service stations in Kumasi, the Garden City.

Starbites has partnered Shell to provide healthy food options at selected Shell stations across the country, with the latest branches being opened at Old Amakom Shell, Harper Road Shell and Kentinkrono Shell, all in Kumasi.

Starbites is a Quick Service Restaurant providing customers with finger-licking foods such as pastries, beverages and hot meals under the strict adherence of its operating principles; Quality, Service, Cleanliness & Value.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Samuel Buah-Kwofie, the Convenience Retail Manager of Vivo Energy Ghana, which markets Shell products, said that Shell is changing the face of convenience retailing in Ghana. Shell service stations provide a convenient atmosphere to cater for the food needs of their customers.

“Starbites’ partnership with Shell is indeed a mutually-beneficial one, as it takes into account the fact that customers no longer go to fuel stations solely for fuel, but also for a quick bite when they are on-the-go. We invite Kumasi-based consumers to enjoy continental dishes with a Ghanaian touch at our conveniently-located Shell service stations” said Mr. Buah-Kwofie.

The Chief Executive Officer of Starbites, Mr. Eric Andoh, expressed his excitement about the partnership: “Shell is a very big brand which we are proud to be working with. This is a great partnership which is going to benefit both parties, and our customers.”
