Nuratu Kassim represents Ghana at World Tourism Contest

Months after her crowning as Miss Tourism Ghana 2015, Nuratu Kassim is in Malaysia to compete in this year’s Miss Tourism World pageant.

The Greater Accra representative at this year’s Miss Tourism pageant was crowned Miss Tourism Ghana 2015 by the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts at the final held at the National Theatre on the 7th August 2015.

Miss Tourism International was established in 1991 to among other things promote the beauty of contestants and tourism of their individual countries.

She is a graduate of the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education.

She attended Ola Girls Senior High School in the Volta region for her secondary education.

A spokesperson for Ms. Kassim told that “she has already started educating her colleagues and the pageant organizers about Ghanaian traditional and royal costumes and other fascinating facts about the country”.
