Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has urged Ghanaians to vote for him and the NPP to salvage Ghana from the economic abyss it has been plunged into by President John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, the NPP has a track-record of fixing bad economie and making things better for Ghanaians, therefore, when presented with the opportunity again to rule, Ghana will be restored to a higher pedestal.
He told some spare parts dealers at Abossey Okai in Accra that: “As you have been telling me, if things are not really going on well, then I urge you to vote for the NPP because we have done it before and you all know what we are capable of doing in government. We have a record of fixing the economy and making things better for Ghanaians. So, vote for us to do what we are good at doing.”
Mr Akufo-Addo further asked Ghanaians to do a critical assessment of their lives in order to decide which direction they will vote in the November 7 elections.
“I urge you all to take a critical look at your living conditions and that of your families today, if indeed you think things are good for you, then retain the NDC and the President in the upcoming elections,” he added.
