A little over one million members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) went to the polls on Saturday 21/11/2015 and affirmed the candidature of President John Dramani Mahama to lead the party in the 2016 election.
Out of the 1,260,954 total valid votes cast, 1,199,118 voted “Yes” for the president while 61,836 voted “No.” The highest ‘protest votes’ occurred in the stronghold of NDC. How should the NDC/President interpret this?
