A deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has chastised the Mahama-led government for failing to alleviate the difficult economic situation facing Ghanaians.
Adomako Baafi says unlike the Kufuor government which introduced several economic policies and made numerous interventions to safeguard the Ghanaian citizenry, Mr. Baafi is of the view that the Mahama-led government has only succeeded in compounding the hardships confronting the citizenry.
Citing the energy crisis as a major setback in the economy, the NPP communicator charged the Volta River Authority (VRA) to settle the debts owed Ghana Gas Company which to him can go a long way to resolve some of the economic difficulties.
“Dumsor is getting worse each and every day, they (NDC) always promise and end up failing us. What they enjoy is just to take us for granted. They don’t respect us anymore,” he said on Adom FM’s Morning Show ‘Dwaso Nsem’ on Friday.
Evaluating the performance of the Mahama administration in 2014, Yaw Adomako Baafi labeled the NDC government as a reactive government.
“Intimidations and insults; that is all they enjoy doing instead of resolving issues confronting the economy” he asserted.
