I’ve lost jobs because of my party affiliation – Papa Nii Papafio

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Henry Harding, popularly known as Pattington Papa Nii Papafio, has bemoaned the growing trend of attacks on celebrities who publicly declare support for political parties.

He observed that it is worrying that entertainment personalities are constantly attacked by people who always share different political views from them.

The veteran actor, who expressed his worry in an interview with Doreen Andoh on Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM Friday, said the development has aggravated to the point that entertainment personalities are losing deals because of their political views.

Citing an example, the former Taxi Driver star, who is also fondly called Oesophagus, said he recently lost a deal because he was told he supports President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
