Former Joy FM super morning show host, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah says he has mixed feelings after winning the Ofoase Ayirebi seat in the Eastern region.
He won by 219 votes and would be contesting the seats on the ticket of the NPP. “I am happy, I am sad…it’s a mixture of feelings..,” he said.
He attributed his victory to hard work and a focus on his five point agenda for developing the constituency.
Oppong Nkrumah garnered some 219 votes out of the 419 votes that were cast, his closest rival John Obiri Yeboah managed 145 votes whiles the last contestant Bright Asamoah Acquah got 54 votes.
Kojo ahead of the polls expressed high hopes of winning the race after a month long campaign during which time he touched base with the grassroots and presented them with his vision of jobs and education.
