Ghanaian youth advised to honour country’s statesmen

The founder of Issachar Prophetic and Leadership Institute, Prophet Selassie Addae has urged the youth to hold Ghana’s statesmen, particularly former President Rawlings, in high esteem.

He stated that these statesmen have the experience needed to unite the country.

He made these comments at a two-day leadership conference dubbed ‘Daniel Leadership and Mentorship School.’

The conference which was under the theme,” Raising the Next generation Christain Leaders had two key-note facilitators and speakers; the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Klottey Korle Constituency Dr. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings who is also the daughter of former President Rawlings, and the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

The Manhyia South MP urged the youth who want to take up leadership positions to emulate characters that will make their following repose confidence in them.

On her part, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings called on women to take up leadership positions to bring what she calls sanity into Ghana’s political space.

The event sought to train the youth to prepare them to take over leadership positions in various sectors of the country.
