For the fourth consecutive time, Ghana topped the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Annual International Competition Awards for Senior High Schools.

This year, three students who performed exceptionally well were from the Wesley Girls Senior High School.

They obtained eight grade A1’s in the May/June 2015 WASSCE, to beat their counterparts in the other WAEC member countries.

At a presentation ceremony in Accra, the Minister of Education, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman said the excellent performance of the students is an indication that measures put in place to enhance education delivery are producing the desired results.
