The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the Black Stars will play Guinea in an international friendly this Saturday in Paris, France.
This forms part of preparations for next month’s penultimate 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
According to media reports, invitations have been handed to two rookies: Leicester City’s Joe Dodoo and defender Kadri Mohammed of Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold.
A statement on the association’s official website read: “The game forms part of the senior national team’s preparation towards next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.
“The match will also give the Coach Avram Grant the opportunity to assess some players who will be handed call-ups into the team.”
Head coach Avram Grant is yet to announce his squad for the two assignments.
Ghana top Group H with 10 points and a point in Mauritius will seal their place at next year’s Nations Cup finals in Gabon.
