The Ghana Book Publishers Association, GBPA has bemoaned the rising cost of production.
It says if government does not respond to the situation as quickly as possible, the Printing industry will collapse and this will worsen the current unemployment situation in the country.
The Association therefore calls on government and stakeholders to as a matter of urgency reduce the 41% tax on inputs for production to salvage the industry.
This came to light at a dialogue among publishers in Accra.
