Fetish priest: End is near for powers I gave Obinim

Okomfo Yaw Appiah, a fetish priest who claims to have given spiritual powers to Bishop Daniel Obinim, Founder of God’s Way International Ministries, to run a successful ministry has indicated that the “end is near” for the bishop.

“…He has brought great shame to everyone. He is going mad, we shall see what will happen to those magical powers that he came for… The embarrassment that is coming will be greater than what he has gone through in the past years,” he indicated.

He continued: “Obinim has turned into a dog…and he is barking now. Whenever a dog is about to die, it barks…”

Okomfo Appiah who spoke in an interview on Accra FM’s ‘Ghana Yensom’ programme further condemned the actions of Obinim in verbal attacks against the 1st Vice President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, who the bishop labelled as a “fool”.

Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, the General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel International, described Obinims comments of his ability to transform into any creature, such as a snake, to attack his enemies in the spiritual realm as heretical, and with no Biblical basis.

The priest, who was very furious about the conduct of Obinim, advised him to seek forgiveness and change from his deviant behaviour, which he said included having an adulterous affair with a female member of his church.

“He must change his ways and ask God for forgiveness… I can tell Obinim is going mad and I am plainly saying that he is going mad and the spiritual powers he came for are making him go mad…”

“Even if he (Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah) has said anything bad about you, you should know that he is older than you…,” the priest lamented, adding that it was very wrong for him to have rained insults on the man of God.

“The Bible says everything shall pass away, except the word of God. I know this is the end for Obinim…” he warned.
