“If your job is all you do then you are not doing a good job”
Most people go about their duties just doing enough to survive. Some people say, “all I can do is all I can do.”

No! Stretch yourself beyond your limit and do something extra.

The difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary is the little extra.

Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your strength. I have a code I practice – work so hard and make your boss wonder if he is paying you well enough.

In school, don’t do what everyone is doing. Add the extra hours, the extra classes and take some time to build your social capital. Build yourself to be a first class person not only a first class student. Contest an election. Join a group. Learn a skill and be more than just a student.

At the work place, don’t wait to be told what to do. Do it before you are asked to do it. Start before everyone comes in.

In the end, you will only realize that the extra will make the difference. Never think that you will wait till you have your own work before you work hard.

Use the opportunity you have to build yourself. Work extra hours, study extra hours and prepare yourself for the future.

You never knew how important the little time you add will be, sooner or later. I’ll share a story on “doing the extra” later in the month.

Go out there and do more than you are supposed to do.

We shall win

Not immediately

But definitely
