Bulgarian train explosion kills four

Four people have been killed after a train derailed and exploded in Bulgaria, emergency services said.

Several other people were injured in the incident, which damaged at least 20 buildings in the village of Hitrino.

Locals were being evacuated as a precaution, a local police official told Reuters.

“The explosion has also caused a fire. We do not expect a second blast, but the people from the village are being evacuated,” he said.
