Ghanaian-based business development support services firm BriskWorld Ventures Limited (BriskWorld) has been appointed by the Society for Education and Research Development (SERD) of India as representatives in Ghana for the 3rd edition of the International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development which will be held from May 4 to 5, 2015 in Dubai, UAE. By this appointment, BriskWorld has the mandate to secure delegates, sponsors and partners from Ghana for the world-class conference.
The annual International Conference on CSR and Sustainable Development which began in 2013 is focused on providing a common platform for corporate organisations, government agencies, NGOs, civil society, academics and the other groups to share their expectations, aspirations and responsibilities in CSR management and sustainable development. The conference is also aimed at empowering businesses to address the social, economic, and environmental effects of doing business, while balancing the conflicting demands on their attention, time and resources. Participants will be taken through how to align their organisations’ corporate social responsibility with their respective business strategies to create a truly sustainable business.
The conference will also feature research in the domain of CSR and Sustainable Business along with Climate Control, Work Life Balance, Philanthropy, social impact and other topics shall be shared in the form of Paper presentation, poster exhibition by researchers and professionals from various parts of the Globe. Presentations, workshops and debates will highlight the need of the day and how these issues are being addressed around the world nowadays. The first and second editions of the conference were held in Bangkok (Thailand) in 2013 and in Jakarta (Indonesia) in 2014 respectively.
