Alexandre Pato says he is looking forward to a reunion with former teammate Kevin-Prince Boateng when Villarreal host Las Palmas on Saturday.
Pato and Boateng were teammates at AC Milan where they won one Serie A title and one Supercoppa Italiana over two seasons in 2010 and 2012.
Both players have become journeymen since leaving Milan, but they appear to have settled in Spain where Patao hopes his Villareal side will continue their winning run.
“It will be a very difficult match. We hope to get a result because we can think of many good things and are in good form right now,” said the Brazilian.
“It is also a game that I encounter with my friend Boateng after a long time. I can not wait to start playing against Boateng.
“We expect a good game and a victory,” he added.
