Akufo-Addo is the most influential politician in Ghana

The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been named the most influential politician in Ghana.

This is according to a ranking done by Accra–based ETV Ghana.

The NPP leader gained the admiration and respect of many both home and abroad after he accepted the verdict of the Supreme Court after months of litigation to overturn the results in his favour.

Nana Akufo-Addo was however second on the list of 100 nominees voted for by the public.

The General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr. Mensa Otabil topped the list to become the most influential person in the country.
