Africa is unlikely to achieve the SDGs due to the challenge of a funding gap of 120 billion dollars.

For this reason, the private sector is being called upon to indulge more in Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, with much emphasis on the SDGs.

The National Coordinator of UNDP Ghana, Pearl Darko said this at a stakeholders conference and the launch of the Ghana CSR Excellence Awards in Accra.

She said the private sector will in turn open more business opportunities since CSR is people centered.
